Today has been a very emotional day for everyone at St Margaret's. Mrs Norton who has been here for 10 years as a Year 5 teacher, then a Year 6 teacher and most recently as a Year 3 teacher, and is moving on to be a lead teacher in a Year 5/6 class at a school in Coventry. She is going to be greatly missed, both as a colleague and a friend by everyone here.
We held a surprise assembly for Mrs Norton where children shared memories and read poems that they had written. We also sang for Mrs Norton and she had her own special song written to the tune of Frozen's 'Let it go'. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! We then gave Mrs Norton a gift from everyone at school and she had a 'Frozen' style card which all the children had written in. Mrs Norton we will miss you lots!
