Year 5's visit from Michelle Nelson, our RE Governor

In RE year 5 have been thinking about Christmas, so today they had a visit from Michelle Nelson our RE governor and her niece to talk about their Christian beliefs and values. The children had come up with some very impressive questions showing great RE skills and knowledge.
E.G: ‘What do you think was the biggest miracle for you, when Jesus was born, when he died or when he rose?’
‘How does being a Christian impact on your Christmas?’
‘Who is more important Father Christmas or Jesus?
They particularly talked about the importance of Christmas to our visitors, but as their questions and discussions progressed they really delved deep into their religious beliefs. The children asked some very deep, thought provoking questions and were very disappointed when Mrs Yeomans made them stop for their lunch break!

Below are a couple of pictures including one of Isabelle's work and her response to Michelle's visit.
