This year, St Margaret's was invited to the Hinckley and Bosworth sports and health alliance Sports Awards. We were nominated as one of 7 local primary schools who have shown outstanding contribution and achievement in physical education and / or sport. St Margaret's is one of only approximately 250 schools in the whole country who have achieved the Gold PE kite mark. Our 4 school sports council members attended and helped to celebrate sport across Hinckley and Bosworth. We watched a stunt cyclist and a gymnast who had just returned from representing Britain in Bulgaria for gymnastics. Unfortunately we didn't win, but we did still go up on stage to receive runner up trophies. Take a look at a few pictures below.
