Key Information

St Margaret’s CE Primary School is a single form entry academy school of 220 pupils aged between four and eleven.  The school is situated in the village of Stoke Golding in Leicestershire which is the birthplace of the ‘Tudor Dynasty’.

We place great value on ‘belonging’ to our school and our children work and learn together in many different ways, through partnerships across year groups and phases.  This ensures that our youngest children develop confidence and a sense of belonging which grows as they get older into a keen sense of responsibility towards themselves and others.  We believe that everyone contributes to our school’s success and that the well being and achievement of every child is at the heart of all we do.

We are proud to be part of The Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust (IPAT). Further information about IPAT can be found by clicking the link to their website further down this page.

Our most recent Ofsted report in September 2021 judged us to be a good school.

We work hard with our feeder nurseries to provide a smooth transition into the Foundation Stage.  This enables us to provide continuity for the children as they move into Foundation Stage and throughout the school.

The children from St Margaret’s move to a variety of high schools.  The majority move to St Martin’s Catholic Academy in Stoke Golding or to Redmoor Academy in Hinckley.
