Basketball County Competition November 2014
Mrs Carruthers and Mrs Payton took 7 budding basketball stars to the county basketball competition held at Green Towers.The team was made up of : Jake Walton, George Mallabone, Harry Taylor,Nathan McClelland, Lucas Payton, Mia Collins and Camara Ashley. The team had a few practices together before going but it seems that this was all they needed! They beat 5 other teams, to win their pool by 29 points before going on to the final!! They narrowly missed out on winning the final, losing by 12 points to Mercenfeld.
The team showed amazing skill and great sportsmanship, sharing their warm up court with other schools and cheering other teams on. They showed they were real assets to St Margaret's! Well done Team!
